
Radiographic technology includes different types of xray and imaging machines that are used in various medical facilities around the United States. A radiographer might work in fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging. It is critical that imaging and radiographic machines be maintained properly and checked regularly so that the amount of radiation can be monitored and controlled.
